360 - These surveys are most frequently used as part of broader training initiatives to help staff learn more about how they are performing from multiple perspectives. In a 360, each survey participant typically completes a self-survey and then sends out this same survey to 8-10 people to form a basis of comparison. The result is a complex process to design and implement because the overall program involves multiple small surveys run in tandem.

The Internet is a particularly helpful delivery medium for 360s because of the complicated logistics involved.
